1. Mod Upload Rules

When uploading content to vCoDMods.com, you agree to follow these rules:

• Provide a clear and accurate description, including installation instructions if needed.
• Upload only complete and functional files in .zip format.
• Include meaningful and relevant screenshots.
• Upload only content you own or have permission to share.

Prohibited files include:

• Archives containing original game files only.
• Cheats, hacks, or tools intended for unfair online advantage.
• Pirated or copyrighted material (cracks, commercial music, movies, TV shows, etc.).
• Malware or suspicious executable files.
• Nude or pornographic content.

License for uploaded content

By uploading any content to vCoDMods.com, you grant vCoDMods.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable, royalty-free license to store, host, cache, display, and distribute the content solely for the technical operation and presentation of the platform. This license automatically terminates when the content is permanently deleted from the platform. No commercial usage, sublicensing, or transfer of rights is granted.

2. Mod Approval Policy

All uploads are manually reviewed before becoming publicly available. I reserve the right to approve or reject content at my sole discretion.

3. Content Removal Requests

If content on vCoDMods.com violates your rights or applicable laws, please contact me at admin@vcodmods.com. I will review the request and take appropriate action.

4. Your Privacy

Please read the Privacy Policy to understand how your data is handled.

5. User Conduct

Users are expected to behave respectfully. The following behavior is not allowed:

• Hateful, abusive, or offensive comments.
• Spamming, trolling, or misleading other users.
• Manipulating downloads, ratings, or likes.
• Repeatedly posting off-topic or low-effort comments.
• Using comments for advertising or unrelated promotions.

Important: This is an English-only platform. All comments must be written in English. Comments in other languages will be removed.

Violations may result in warnings, content removal, or bans.

6. Community Guidelines

Be respectful, provide constructive feedback, and avoid toxic behavior. This community is intended to be friendly and helpful.

7. Admin Policy

As the sole admin, I may remove content or restrict accounts if these terms are violated. All decisions are made at my discretion.

Violations of these terms may result in content removal, temporary restrictions, or permanent account bans without prior notice.

8. Technical Use Disclaimer

I am not responsible for any damage, data loss, or instability caused by user-submitted files. Use mods at your own risk.

9. Site Availability & Maintenance

vCoDMods.com may experience downtime due to maintenance, updates, or hosting issues. While I aim for high availability, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

10. Responsibility for Backups

Daily encrypted backups are created and stored for seven days. Users are encouraged to keep their own backups of uploaded files.

11. Cookies

vCoDMods.com uses only essential cookies required for functionality and security. No advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies are used. For details on cookies and Bunny Shield, see the Privacy Policy.

12. Third-Party Links

External links may appear on the site. I am not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of third-party websites.

13. Linking Policy

Linking to the site is allowed. Embedding or hotlinking content (such as images or iframes) without permission is not allowed.

14. Legal Disclaimer

This site is a fan project not affiliated with or endorsed by Activision or its partners. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

15. Upload Responsibility Disclaimer

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to upload content. I do not guarantee functionality, compatibility, or safety of mods.

16. Legal Notices & Compliance

vCoDMods.com operates under GDPR and CCPA standards. I respond to lawful data requests and respect user rights under applicable laws.

17. Content Responsibility

vCoDMods.com hosts mods for Call of Duty 1, United Offensive, and Call of Duty 2. While I upload many archived mods, I am not their original creator and cannot take responsibility for their contents. Responsibility remains with the original authors.

Users who upload mods are solely responsible for their submissions. Older mods may contain offensive symbols, nudity, racist or hateful imagery, or depictions of violence.

These mods often reflect the time and culture in which they were created and are not maintained by me. Problematic content can be reported and will be reviewed and removed if necessary.

18. Account Rules, Verification & Limitations

New accounts require email confirmation and manual activation by the admin. Activation may take up to 24 hours.

Each user may register only one account. A one-account-per-IP policy is enforced to ensure fair use.

Disposable email addresses are blocked. Usernames may not contain offensive terms, spam-like patterns ("aaaaaa", "ttttttt"), restricted words like "admin", or meaningless strings.

Attempts to bypass restrictions—using VPNs, proxies, IP-hopping, or account sharing—may lead to permanent bans.

19. Account Removal & Inactivity

Accounts with no activity for 12 months may be deleted. Activity includes logging in, uploading mods, posting comments, or submitting ratings.

Accounts with uploads or comments are exempt from inactivity deletion.

Logging in resets the inactivity timer. Accounts without email confirmation after 3 days may be deleted.

I may remove or ban accounts at my discretion, with or without prior notice, for moderation, security, or operational reasons.

20. Download Limits

To ensure fair use of the platform, each account may download up to 25 files per day (CET/CEST, 00:00–23:59). This limit exists because some users repeatedly downloaded the same files or an unusually high number of files without any reasonable purpose.

Automated downloading — including scripts, bots, scrapers, or similar tools — is not allowed.

Accounts or IPs showing abusive download behavior may be restricted or banned. The daily limit may be adjusted if needed to maintain fair use.

21. Private Messages

Private messages may be used only for modding or community-related communication. Spam, abusive messages, or advertisements are prohibited.

Reported messages may be reviewed if necessary. I may remove messages or restrict messaging features at my discretion.

Do not share personal information or attempt to bypass moderation through private messages.

22. Terms Updates

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the site means you accept the latest version.
