vCoDMods.com is a private, non-commercial project focused on Call of Duty 1 and its expansion United Offensive. The original idea was simple: bring everything together in one place. Over the years, mods became scattered across many different websites, often missing screenshots, descriptions, or proper categorization, duplicated under different names, or uploaded with broken or incomplete files. This site was created to bring order and reliability back to that content. In 2025, support for Call of Duty 2 was added as the final expansion of the archive.

The goal of the site is to preserve community-made content and present it in a clear and usable way. Today, vCoDMods.com hosts the largest collection of mods for CoD1 and United Offensive, with a steadily growing section for Call of Duty 2. Each entry is organized and presented with screenshots so visitors can see exactly what they are downloading.

Most of the work behind the site happens quietly in the background. Files are reviewed one by one, tested in-game, and checked for common issues such as missing textures, broken archives, or incorrect folder structures. Duplicate files are avoided, and entries are kept up to date so that the latest available version is always provided.

This project is maintained as a curated archive rather than a simple file mirror. Some mod details are intentionally not displayed publicly to discourage automated reuse and mass mirroring of archive content.

Browsing the archive and viewing screenshots is publicly accessible. Downloading files and accessing detailed mod information requires an account. Earlier versions of the site allowed unrestricted access, but this led to repeated abuse and automated scraping.

The site is fully self-hosted and independent of third-party platforms. There are no ads, no tracking, and no pop-ups — just direct access to the content.
