DDS DXT1/DXT5 TEXTURE CONVERTER

PURPOSE
-------
Converts images to DDS textures in DXT1 or DXT5 format for use in games
and 3D applications (mainly CoD1).
SUPPORTED INPUT FORMATS

PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, TGA, TIFF, GIF, WebP, DDS
FEATURES

- DXT1 compression for opaque textures (no transparency)
- DXT5 compression auto-detected for textures with alpha channel
- Automatic resize to power of 2 dimensions (32, 64, 128, 256...)
- Multiprocessing for fast batch conversion
- 57 predefined shader prefixes (asphalt, brick, metal, wood, snow...)
- Auto-replaces existing shader prefix in filename
SHADER PREFIX SYSTEM
--------------------
Select a shader from the dropdown to add a prefix to output filenames.
Example: Shader "snow" + texture "ground.png" = "snow@ground.dds"
If a texture already has a prefix like "old@ground.png", it will be
replaced with the selected shader: "snow@ground.dds"
Select "NONE" for no prefix.
OUTPUT
------
- Creates "dds_output/" subfolder in the source directory
- Opens output folder automatically after conversion
HOW TO USE
----------
1. Run DDS_Converter.exe
2. Click "Browse..." and select a folder containing images
3. Optionally select a shader prefix from the dropdown
4. Click "Convert"
5. Output folder opens automatically when done
