Design & UI

  • Many bugfixes and improvements across the site.
  • Themes updated for a better experience, but the site is primarily optimized for dark mode.
  • Mobile site layout and usability improved.
  • Many small design adjustments throughout the site for a more polished look.
  • Like button on the mod page has been repositioned and redesigned.
  • The number of mods displayed per page is now calculated dynamically based on screen resolution, ensuring 3 full rows for all users and consistent, symmetrical layouts.
    • If there is a display issue (e.g. missing mods or incorrect layout), resize your browser window and press F5. The new resolution will be saved to local storage and the display will update automatically.
  • Many features like Like, Rating, Download, and Messaging are now visible in the UI even for guests. When not logged in, attempting to use these features opens a modal: “You need to log in to access this feature. Click here to log in.”
  • New custom emojis have been added.
  • New rank Creator introduced. This rank is assigned individually and is purely cosmetic.
  • Dump and Knowledge Base (formerly Docs) now appear as main categories in the header (no longer as separate buttons).
  • About, Terms, and Privacy texts have been updated.

Private Messaging & Notifications

  • Private message system added: Users can send messages to each other.
  • New users receive a welcome message in their inbox after registering.
  • PM system includes Inbox, Sent, Drafts, and Trash folders.
  • Messages can be deleted, restored, reported, and drafts are saved automatically.
  • Message button available on mod view pages, user profiles, and the inbox is directly in the user dropdown under “Messages”.
  • Email notifications system introduced; users can enable notifications for:
    • Receiving a new private message
    • Being mentioned (@mention)
    • Someone commenting on their mods
    • Replies to their comments
    • Mods they like getting updated
  • Notification dropdown now shows alerts for private messages and liked mods that have been updated.

Search & Discovery

  • Old search filter replaced by an advanced search function with multiple filters and sorting options.
  • All filters and sort options can be used individually or in combination.

Navigation & Categories

  • Header redesigned: Now features main categories for each game, with subcategories beneath (previously only subcategories were shown).
  • New main category What’s New added, containing:
    • Latest Updates (recently updated mods)
    • Latest Comments (all recent and older comments)
    • Top Downloads (Top 25 mods for week, month, all time; week/month stats reset automatically)
    • Site Changelog (summary of all recent site changes)
  • Dump and Knowledge Base now also appear as their own categories in the header for easier access.
  • Discord server has been deleted and the “Discuss on Discord” feature has been removed from the site.

Upload & Edit

  • In the upload and edit mod forms, there are now two select dropdowns: one for Game and one for Category.
  • Categories become selectable only after a game has been selected, making the process more intuitive and user-friendly.

System & Integration

  • Altcha CAPTCHA has been added to the signup form for improved bot protection.
  • The password reset form now requires both username and email for additional security (previously only username was required).
  • Knowledge Base (formerly Docs) fully integrated into the site with custom code. Users can now also contribute their own articles.
  • Dump section is now fully integrated into the site with custom code, no more 3rd party tools.
  • All SEO links have been updated: Mods are now accessible under /subcat/modname instead of /view/modname for improved structure and discoverability.
